The new townhome development adds modern living options to one of North Knoxville’s fastest-growing neighborhoods.
Curbed Construction, LLC, a leading provider of high-quality construction services across East Tennessee, alongside client Connolly Development Ventures, is proud to announce the start of a new residential project in North Knoxville’s Happy Holler neighborhood dubbed North x Central Townhomes. Located at 1120 N. Central Street, the development will feature 12 modern, high-end townhomes designed to complement the vibrancy and growth of this thriving community.
The three-story homes will showcase masonry exteriors, modern finishes, and two-car garages with approximately 1,600 square feet of living space. Along with private courtyards featured in some floor plans, each unit will include:
Three bedrooms
Two-car garage
Outdoor third-level terrace
First-level flex space on N. Central that can function as an office, workspace, or fourth bedroom
These residences are tailored for modern living and designed with both style and function in mind. Anticipated completion is in Q3 of 2026.
Happy Holler has become one of Knoxville’s most exciting neighborhoods, with local restaurants and businesses, including The Oak Room, Central Flats & Taps, and Three Rivers Market, all within a block of this project. Schulz Brau Brewing, Next Level Brewery, Yee-Haw Brew Pub, Scruffy City Coffee, and Partial Coffee are all within a half mile. Residents will also enjoy close proximity to downtown Knoxville and the University of Tennessee, making this project an ideal blend of neighborhood charm and city convenience.
“Connolly Development Ventures is thrilled to continue building in North Knoxville’s neighborhoods,” said Thomas Connolly, owner of Connolly Development Ventures. “We believe in creating opportunities for more people to live in vibrant, connected communities like Happy Holler. Alongside this project, we’re also excited to announce that the approximately 1,800-square-foot building at 114 E. Anderson Avenue will soon be available for lease, and we look forward to welcoming a new tenant who will add to the neighborhood’s energy.”
Jake Riley, project manager for Curbed Construction, added: “Infill projects like this are always a challenge, but they’re the kind of work we love. By filling underutilized spaces, we bring new value and activity to neighborhoods, benefiting not just our clients and the future homeowners, but also the community and its stakeholders.”
