Housing demand in Knoxville is at an all-time high — and so is the need for creative solutions. Recently, our partners at Connolly Development Ventures were featured on WBIR Channel 10, where Kelsey Gaines discussed how infill developments like the Happy Holler Townhomes, built by Curbed Construction, are helping meet that demand.
The story focused on what’s known as the “missing middle” — housing types like duplexes, townhomes, and small-scale infill projects that fit between single-family homes and high-density apartments. These projects are key to creating more attainable housing while keeping the unique character of Knoxville’s neighborhoods intact.
At Curbed, we’re proud to play a part in this movement by bringing thoughtful, high-quality construction to projects that strengthen communities from the inside out.
